Chain of Hearts (Ceropegia woodii) – Delicate and Dazzling

Soil- Chain of Hearts enjoy a chunky and well draining soil. Cacti potting mixes are a great option! If using standard potting mix we recommend adding perlite or pumice for better drainage!

Watering- The Chain of Hearts is. drought tolerant variety of plant. Allow the soil to dry completely in between waterings, and then give the soil a good soak right through and drain completely- this mimics a monsoon that would occur in a sucucclents natural environment. You can check to see if your plant is ready for it's next drink by poking your finger in the soil or using a moisture metre!

Light- Your Chain of Hearts will look it's best in bright, dappled and filtered light. 

Humidity- These plants don't enjoy high humidity, keep the Chain of Hearts in an area with good air circulation!

Temperature- The Chain of hearts can handle temperatures as low -6 degrees (celcius) for short period of time, as long as they have retained enough moisture! Generally they prefer a warm, dry environment!

Fertiliser- Chain of Hearts appreciate regular fertilising in the warmer seasons. Opt for a fertiliser with lower nitrogen levels, as too much nitrogen can results in soft and squishy leaves!
